The Working Procedure

1. When the care worker starts work, she reports in to the central application by holding her personal key to the telephone. The current planning is sent to the phone.

2. The homecare worker enters the patient’s home.

3. She holds the telephone to the patient card for online registration of the time that she arrived at the patient’s home. This information is registered in the central iO software. In addition, specific information on the patient is sent to the telephone.

4. The homecare worker treats the patient.

5. When she is ready to leave, she holds the telephone to the patient card. The central iO application calculates what actions she has taken. This calculation is sent to the care worker in the form of a suggestion. If necessary, minor adjustments can be made.

6. The care manager authorises all the information and prepares it for declaration to the healthcare insurer. The iO application also has a facility for displaying management information.
